:: HAS Experts Quoted in National Publications

The expertise of Hogan Assessment Systems was tapped recently by editors at Sage Publications and by journalists for Forbes.com, the Houston Chronicle newspaper and Community Banker magazine.

  • HAS President Robert Hogan was quoted in a Jan. 22 story on Forbes.com about use of personality tests. The story is titled "Surviving The Personality Test." He is also quoted in a short sidebar that is presented as a five-part slide show, titled "In Pictures: Surviving The Personality Test." To read the story on the Forbes Web site, click here.
  • Jared Lock, director of consulting services, was quoted in the article "Retaining the Frontline" in the January 2007 issue of Community Banker magazine, a monthly publication of America's Community Bankers, an independent national trade association that represents the nation's community banks of all charter types and sizes.
  • Robert Hogan was quoted in the article "Feeling a bit cranky today? Look on the bright side" that appeared in the Houston Chronicle on Jan. 18. The article includes Hogan's comments about new research that suggests that employees in bad moods can be creative problem-solvers. To read the story on the Houston Chronicle Web site, click here.
  • A new book, "Foundations of Psychological Testing," published by Sage Publications, carries an endorsement on the back cover by Joyce Hogan, vice president of Hogan Assessment Systems. She states: "The psychology curriculum badly needs a modern textbook on testing, and this marvelous book fills that gap perfectly. It is up-to-date, well organized, and user-friendly, while maintaining the appropriate standards of scholarly integrity; it is the best new text in this field in a long time."
